Visualization Techniques
With closed eyes, utilize several senses at once to truly enjoy the visualization. This process can bring one into full meditation and relaxation, eliminating stress, and inducing tranquility.
With this in mind, let’s begin by getting your body into a comfortable position. As always, we’ll start with a deep breath.
In through the nose…
And out through the mouth.
Begin to relax your entire body, concentrating first on the biggest muscles. Start with your calves…
Then move your focus up through your thighs…
into your lower back…
and finally your shoulders and neck.
Bring yourself to a place of centeredness. Do this by focusing on people who care for you, who love you, and who want good things for you. Pay attention to the idea that you are protected and safe because those people are in your life.
Think about yourself in your calming place. While in this safe place, begin to consider the resources you have within you.
